As you may require for treatment of your research animals, particularly transgenic models, we will add Doxycycline to any LabDiet® grain-based food and into any custom TestDiet® product. The diet is then compressed into convenient pellets.
As with all our TestDiet® products, Doxycycline diets are typically produced within five business days or less. Gamma-irradiation is provided free for all Doxycycline diets; however, you may need to plan an extra 10 business days if you require irradiation.
Indications & Use
Doxycycline is an antibiotic used primarily to "turn on" or "turn off" specific gene expression in genetically-modified animals. It can be added in any proportions, but by far the most common concentration is 200 ppm. Specific dosing is based on your unique research requirements or as determined by your veterinarian and/or lab management.
