Cholesterol Modifications to LabDiet® Formulas
We can alter the cholesterol concentration of any grain-based LabDiet® formula; diets with high and low cholesterol concentrations are possible. Cholesterol levels are usually decreased by making adjustments to the source of fat, and increased by adding cholesterol.
These diets may be manufactured with or without the addition of sodium cholate, which may aid in the absorption of cholesterol.
LabDiet® formulas have been modified to create hundreds of cholesterol-adjusted diets. Following are just a few examples.
